What is a total loss?

A vehicle can be considered a Total Loss if the cost to repair damages is greater than the value that is determined by the insurance company.

Champion Auto Body Shop of Howell will repair regardless of the amount of damage. It is up to your insurance company to decide the amount that they will invest into those repairs which is when they might consider your vehicle a Total Loss. If your vehicle is named a Total Loss, we will assist you with filing the correct paperwork and figuring out what your next steps would be.
